Governor

Hello my name is Nicky Brown I was appointed parent governor in July 2011. I was keen to further my involvement in the school and took the opportunity when the vacancy came up.  I now hope to gain a fuller understanding of the ways in which the school environment educates our children as both a parent and parent governor. 

I hope to bring my skills from working within HMRC to support, assist and query where school ways do not seem clear to me.  I have worked in four main areas within HMRC that have covered general admin, project work, in-house video production and my current post within the finance team. 

I am particularly interested in following the combined year 3/4 classes next year and hope to take an active parent governor role within the Curriculum committee.
